The Knot and Plough opens to great success on Beacon Business Park

After several months of construction Marston’s PLC pub The Knot and Plough had its grand opening on 8 June. The public house was the first development to be announced on the new development zone at Beacon Business Park, and has got off to a fantastic start since opening.

It currently has 49 part-time and full-time staff who are enjoying working hard to ensure customers have a great experience while dining or relaxing.

Stuart Macdonald, manager of the pub, said “We are excited that the local community has supported us since we opened earlier this month. Beacon Business Park is still being developed, so we are excited to see the site expand and further investment in the area.”

The pub is ideally located on the A518 Weston Road, where some 6,000 residents live nearby. This coupled with the imminent arrival of 1,200 military personal to the nearby MOD Super Garrison, means the pub is welcome addition to the area.

The pub boasts an extensive menu and offers a carvery daily, which includes a choice of three succulent meats carved by its chefs, temptingly displayed alongside a wide range of seasonal vegetables and homemade Yorkshire puddings. There is both an indoor and outdoor play area for children to enjoy, and over the summer the patio is ideal for alfresco dining or a relaxing drink.
