UK Garden Buildings Limited, manufacturer of timber garden buildings, are set to move in to their new home at Beacon Business Park in Stafford on 28 October 2016, ready to start production on 31 October 2016.
Currently based in Rugeley, Staffordshire, UK Garden Buildings was founded in 1996 with an aim to manufacture, fit and sell quality timber garden buildings at an affordable price. The company has gone from strength to strength and now offers a wide range of garden buildings, from simple storage sheds to a range of luxury insulated garden rooms and home offices which were launched in 2012.
The extension of their product range means UK Garden Buildings has outgrown their current site in Rugeley which has manufacturing operations in two units. Their new facility in Unit N at Beacon Business Park will allow for an expansion in manufacturing operations and will ensure a more streamlined process with every aspect of the production system now under one roof. Part of the new unit has already been sectioned off to make way for spray paint booths and a brand new tracking system for their painted buildings.
Managing director Malcom Hill commented, “When selecting a new home for our manufacturing facility, Beacon Business Park in Stafford was the obvious choice. The amount of space we were able to secure now gives us the capacity to manufacture under one roof in a secure environment. The central location of Beacon Business Park with its close proximity to the M6 and UK motorway network is ideal for the nationwide delivery of our buildings.”
UK Garden Buildings’ plans for future expansion at Beacon Business Park include training and employing more local staff, which will bring a number of new employment opportunities to the area.
