(Munich/Germany, Stafford/UK August 2015). International construction machinery company Wacker Neuson is expanding its UK operations in Stafford. Richard Harrison, UK Managing Director and CFO Gunther C. Binder have signed a deal with Beacon Business Park for a brand new UK Sales Headquarters, which opens in summer 2016.
Wacker Neuson is internationally renowned as a leading manufacturer of high quality construction vehicles and construction equipment. Wacker Neuson, which has its group headquarters in Munich, has been a tenant on the original business park for 18 months and already employs 45 people in Stafford with further expansion planned.
Recognising the benefits of Stafford as a base for its UK operations, Wacker Neuson has purchased plots 6, 7 and 8 which extend to 3.8 acres with a contract to design and build a new headquarters facility. The brand new 45,000 sq ft UK headquarters will house offices, warehousing, a parts store and workshop and training facilities.
